Spellman Brady & Company transformed the previous institutional environment of Sherbrooke Village into a warm and comfortable home for its residents. The architect opened up rooms and added a central fireplace, serving as the focal point for the design, and creating a functional, inviting space. A new and inviting color palette, updated furniture, finishes and artwork completed the transformation. The result of this transformation was a noticeable increase in Resident socialization in the renovated gathering areas. Sherbrooke Village was featured as a finalist in Long-Term-Living Magazine’s Renovation and Remodel contest in October of 2009.
